In 1972, the first vines were planted with the Penfolds clone on this site. This is Winmark’s most premium wine, produced exclusively from the precious, hand-picked fruit of Block 4.
The 72 illustration is created from an aerial photograph taken of the block, with the vines drawn and printed using a high-gloss raised varnish, giving it a very premium finish. This label is Winmark’s only dark label, and the monogram on the matte black capsule is embossed to enhance the exclusivity of this product.
